StarStake Log #7: A New Way for Fans to Engage with the Creators and Brands they Love

In this article, Chris Hawk shares an overview of the strategies behind StarStake, a powerful Web3 platform.
“Imagine a new way you can connect with your favorite creators and brands.. As you log into StarStake, you can check out your stats. You can see what your fan score is, you can see what other fan scores are and what other fans are doing, buying, purchasing, collecting — all that cool stuff.
Then all of a sudden, you see this promotion that comes up, it pops up in your StarStake notifications and sends you an email. You may see that one of your favorite artists is performing at a concert at Madison Square Garden. There’s five backstage passes where you get to meet your favorite star. They’re going to be there and they’re going to meet you backstage and as one of five people! You’re going to be able to have a drink with them, sit down, talk and connect. Amazing, right?
Now as a fan, all you have to do is review the details on that promotion — say it’s for the top five fans with an active status with the top five scores. You can see how you can increase your score. You can buy more of your favorite star’s products. You can upgrade to level three and increase your score if you share this Brand Club and if you share this offer with a bunch of your friends who love the same artist, you’re going to increase your score that way. So you start with sharing content and doing all the things that you can see — normal fan stuff, basically. And your score starts going up, up, up, up, up!
Other fans are obviously competing to win the backstage passes as well and sometimes there’s promotions for super fans only or active fans or maybe the connected new fans. They can target newer people so it’s not unfair to people that haven’t spent as much money. Either way, you see this promotion and you’re doing all this stuff and you’re not paying a fee for it. You’re just participating and being a more engaged fan. Again, it comes to sharing or buying or owning or just a combination score and then all of a sudden, you’re one of those top five fans and you get delivered this exclusive backstage pass.
You go meet your favorite artist backstage and now the artist has a superfan for life! That customer will be so loyal and so grateful and feel connected to the artist in new ways.. and all they did was basic fan stuff, stuff they were already doing anyway, but now they’re motivated, incentivized because they really cared about meeting their favorite star. In essence, that’s how StarStake works — connecting fans with the creators and brands they love!
One of the cool new features we just implemented at StarStake is creating certificate access NFTs so you don’t have to make purchases or are limited to actions on the StarStake platform itself. That’s where this all happens. Let’s say a fan is buying products already on Shopify or on a brand’s website, it doesn’t matter. As soon as that purchase happens, creators can deliver a certificate automatically which is an access NFT to unlock special rewards.
It’s free and all you have to do is enter your access code and it drops that NFT right into your wallet in your account at StarStake and now it calculates with a score for that purchase or action that you took. It could be that you finished a course or maybe you attended something and you got a code for it that allowed you to redeem this now. When you get that access code, you go to StarStake to redeem it and boom, you got it and you also have the certificate, this NFT that verifies you took that action or purchased something that’s an original. It’s like a proof of sale.
This now opens up all new opportunities for creators, brands, and businesses that have existing customers and already have existing shopping carts. Your audience doesn’t have to buy on StarStake, we just want to empower creators and brands to create amazing fan bases and reward and promote awesome stuff to their fans which helps the brand or creator and their fans get what they want just by doing the stuff they’re already doing.”
